Cast Your Vote!! Here's How!
Voting is the most important thing you can do to fix our Cleveland city government. Even if you don't vote for me! It's easy and only takes a few minutes. Make your voice heard in 3 simple steps!
(If you want an unbiased source, all the information is available from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections by clicking here.)
Be a Cleveland resident
Be sure to have a Cleveland residence reflected on your voter registration! You need to live in Ohio for 30 days prior to the election to be eligible.
Register to vote with the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections by clicking here! Click "VOTERS" in the upper left and select "Register to Vote" from the list of options that drops-down. If you will be 18 or older on November 2, 2021, you can vote in the September 14th primary as long as you register by August 15th!
If you are like my mother and do not "do computers," you can call the
Board of Elections at 216-443-VOTE (8683) to be mailed a registration card!
That link also provides a list of places you can register in person! You have no excuse, so get it done!
Cast your ballot!
Execute your vote in one of three fun and simple ways!
A) VOTE EARLY BY MAIL using a mail-in ballot from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections! Review their process by clicking here and following the link on the left-hand side for "Vote-by-Mail." Basically, you print an application, sign it, and mail it in. You'll receive a mail-in ballot in your own mailbox once it's ready! You can also get an application by visiting or writing a letter to the Board of Elections at 2925 Euclid Avenue, ZIP Code 44115 right here in Cleveland.
Make sure to drop your ballot in the mail no later than September 11th, 2021. If you don't, you need to bring it to the Board of Elections in person no later than election day on September 14th!
B) VOTE EARLY IN PERSON at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections! Check the early voting hours by clicking on this link -- early voting will probably begin around August 14th for my mayoral primary!
The address is:
Bring your identification! See below for a list of acceptable identification.
C) GO TO VOTE ON SEPTEMBER 14, 2021 at your precinct polling location! Look up the address for your precinct using the Board of Elections tool by clicking here. Find the link for "Where do I Vote?" on the left-hand side, click it, and enter your address on the form!
If it doesn't work for you, give the Board of Elections a call at 216-443-VOTE (8683). Or give me a call, and we will figure it out together!
Show up to your polling place between 6:30AM and 7:30PM! If you are in line by 7:30PM, you will be allowed to vote even if the line is hours-long! (Hopefully it won't be! Consider voting early!)
